Leanne-4Leanne is over 40, in fact she is 44. Over a year ago, Leanne was sceptical of my training and whether she could achieve better results than anything she had tried before. She wanted results but had lost the motivation with doing home DVDs and exercising on her own.

If you are a woman over 40 in a similar position to Leanne, then why not read about her brief journey in the last 12 months?

“I joined Paul’s group training in January 2013, initially to do the 5 week detox and workouts that went with it.

I had previously been doing ‘Jillian Michaels’ dvd’s at home and her eating plan which I thoroughly enjoyed but felt I needed a bit more motivation to keep going. Paul’s groups were very similar, healthy eating (no processed food) and quick 20-30 minute workouts of high intensity training.
 
After the 5 week detox, which I stuck to quite well, I continued with his workouts twice a week as I could feel the difference in my strength and overall fitness.

Now a year later, I am still going along 2 sometimes 3 times a week and really enjoying his workouts. The healthy eating has become a way of life and I have remained at a steady weight which I am really proud of and back comfortably into my size 8 clothes. Through the week I eat really well, all fresh ingredients for meals and no processed food. At a weekend I relax this but I’m still very aware of what I should be eating.

My strength has increased and from only being able to do 1 or 2 full push ups, I can now do 30-35 in a minute. I enjoy the variety in each workout and the fact that it is still only around 30 minutes of full work out time.

And fantastically my metabolic age is now 23 (I’m 44!) so a massive achievement which I probably would never have got to if it wasn’t for Paul and the other women in the group who are so friendly and supportive.”
