It was one of the most anticipated events for a long time. It was ‘the’ topic of conversation in shops, at work, on the radio, everywhere!
People were preparing for the event well in advance, buying their special glasses (where did you buy them from????), travelling up to Kielder etc.
So, how was it for you?
“Don’t look directly at the sun”, we were told. Hmmm, I still looked at the sun!!
Anyway, why am I going on about the solar eclipse and what has it got to do with your health?
Firstly, if you don’t prepare properly, you’ll be disappointed when it comes to the actual event. In this case, if you didn’t have your glasses or pinhole paper, you wouldn’t get the best effect.
Same with your health. If you don’t prepare properly, i.e. buy the right foods, plan your fitness classes, choose the right workout clothes, then you’ll get a partial result.
Secondly, when it comes to the event itself, if you were hiding in a cupboard when the eclipse was happening, you wouldn’t witness the phenomenon.
Same with your health. If you don’t turn up to classes, you don’t get to exercise and therefore, you don’t get fitter and stronger.
Thirdly, if you found yourself in the ‘wrong’ place to witness the eclipse, you wouldn’t have seen the total eclipse, just partial.
Same with your health. If you find yourself in the wrong fitness environment, you won’t get the best results. If you want specific results, you need to be in an environment that caters for you. You need a specialist, not a generalist.
Putting all this together, that’s why I exist. I provide that specialist environment where women can come and exercise, share ideas, have a friendly chat, feel comfortable and don’t feel intimidated.
Isn’t that better than going to a ‘regular’ gym where they cater for everyone?! They’re not specialists so they don’t eat, sleep and breathe their target market.
I’m asked all the time why I just train women.
A few years ago, 95% of my clients were women but I was still advertising to everyone. It made no sense because I was talking to only 5% men and the message was a very generic one.
Women couldn’t relate to it because my message was the same as the trainer down the road or the gym across the street.
I needed to change my message so that I could speak directly to women who had a specific problem that needed solving.
2015 has seen another change for me. I wasn’t specific enough so I decided to concentrate on women’s weight training rather than weight loss.
If you want weight loss, head down to the local slimming club (where they will just weigh you by the way and ‘maybe’ give you proper nutritional advice).
If you want to be stronger, fitter, healthier, have a better shape, lose inches from your waist and hips, have more energy, eat the right foods, learn how to enjoy your treats…
Get in touch and I’ll help you.
I’ve helped thousands of women just like you.
I have another 28-Day Weight Training Challenge starting on Monday (23rd March) where you could achieve ALL of the above – remember, in just 4 weeks.

Your decision here could change your life forever.
