I work with women as you know, both through personal and group fitness training and effective eating plans.
I’d say that the majority of women I train are over 40.
Being a woman, you know how your body changes as get older, especially into your 40s and 50s. Your hormones have different roles than in your 20s and 30s.
Being a man, I obviously can’t say anything about hormones but I do get a lot of feedback from the women I train and I know what works for them regarding exercise and nutrition.
You may be in your 40s or 50s and you may be struggling with your weight right now. Maybe you’ve tried dieting, slimming clubs, counting calories, joining the gym and so on.
BUT nothing has worked for you.
It’s like a vicious circle isn’t it? You may get instant results but then you go back to square one.
Unlike most male trainers, I understand the problems that you are going through. I’ve helped thousands of women to lose fat and get back in shape.
It’s NOT your fault that past programmes and diets haven’t worked for you.
You just need a new approach – one that works and gets the results you want. An approach that can fit into your busy life and is manageable.
If you’ve been in this situation and you want a new approach, why not get in touch? My advice is free (obviously my training programmes do cost something!!) but I’m here to help, especially if you’re a woman over 40.
I’m 47 so I know that it gets harder to stay in shape as you age but do you know…
You can actually get stronger and fitter as you age?
It’s true and I have many success stories from the women who I’ve trained. Take Jayne for example:
“There aren’t many fitness trainers, I’m sure, that would honestly prefer to work with ‘women of a certain age’! So at 49, determined not be unfit at 50, I decided to take the plunge to work with Paul. We worked together initially for 5 weeks – twice a week, at a time and place that worked for me – and during that time I lost 11 1bs, almost 5 inches from my waist and hips combined, and I genuinely feel like a new person as my fitness has increased far beyond my expectations. Paul is grounded, he really knows what he’s doing, and not once did I worry about feeling or looking stupid (although I’m sure I did!!). I also realised that exercising can fit in between work and family, so I’m able to keep up the programme on the days I’m on my own. After the 5 weeks I decided to continue with a programme of weekly sessions with Paul to continue my progress – but there was definitely no pressure from him to do so. Highly recommended.”
Maybe it’s time to make 2015 your new year and finally make a lasting change?
