I’m sure you know by now that I’m a Personal and Group Fitness Trainer – I hope so anyway!
However, I’m not your normal trainer, which is why I don’t try to sell you stuff all of the time or instruct you to come to my bootcamp (I don’t run bootcamps by the way!) or thrust supplements down your throat!
Why am I different? Well, I like to interact with you, communicate with you, give you free stuff, give advice, tips, interesting articles. Things that will be helpful to you – obviously relating to health and fitness. I want to be your friend – someone you can trust. I have over 19 years experience in my industry so I should know a little bit!
I only train women and all of my literature is based on women’s health and fitness.
Currently, the ages of the women who attend my group sessions range between mid 20s to late 40s/early 50s. Everyone is different and I realise that. My training is very adaptable to your age and current fitness levels.
I won’t push you too hard if you’re a beginner but I will encourage you to push yourself a little out of your comfort zone. Otherwise, you won’t progress, get fitter, get stronger etc.
If you’re a more seasoned exerciser, I will encourage you to push on and give you more challenges.
My eating plans are tailored to women’s health and my handouts are all geared towards women being healthier.
So you see, I’m not your ‘normal’ trainer. I’m 47 so I’ve been around!!
I’m not just out of college and it took me more than a weekend to train as a Personal Trainer!
I know what a more ‘mature’ person goes through in life. What they think. How they think. Plus, my partner is 47 so whatever I don’t know, she’ll tell me!
I also know what a younger woman thinks as I receive lots of comments about their issues, goals and feelings towards weight loss, health and fitness.
Group training has so many benefits especially when you train with likeminded women. Did you know you are much more likely to achieve your goals/get results if you train with likeminded people? You motivate each other, keep each other going, make friends and much more.
If you live in Newcastle or close to it, maybe you could try out one of my group classes. I’m going to be opening a new studio in early October. I will be holding small to medium group classes as the studio isn’t huge but that’s ok – the results will be more targeted and even better for you.
